Information Session about MEPI Student Leaders Program

Al-Qasemi Academic College of Education invited the college students to attend the information session about MEPI Student Leaders Program on Tuesday, 26th of December. The MEPI Student Leaders Program is fully funded by the Department of State and managed by the U.S Embassy in Tel-Aviv. It is an intensive 5- to 6-week exchange program to the United States in which participants attend one of four U.S universities, where they develop leadership skills and expand their understanding of civil society, as well as the democratic process and how both may be applied in their home communities. The information session included explanation about the program, registration process and the application, in addition to other opportunities offered by the U.S. Embassy represented by Ms. Mona Badan and first-hand experiences shared by alumni of the program represented by Abed Allatif Mahamid, Takwa Makalda and Bahaa Mahamid.
