Al-Qasemi students: Noor Asaad, Anwar Khatib, Marwa Abu Abed and Doaa Mahamid from the Department of Special Education and Arabic Language participated in the summary meetings of the IN2IT program on 25-27 June at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy. IN2IT program (INTERNATIONALIZATION BY INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY) is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union that aims at advancing internationalization in the institutions of higher education through innovative technologies. Al-Qasemi College has developed a curriculum for international academic programs with its national and international partners. Four courses were selected within the IN2IT project to be offered during the academic year 2017-2018: Essential Skills, Global Entrepreneurship, English for International Purposes and Embracing Diversity. The summary meetings that were held in Milan aimed to share students’ experiences in the courses for the purpose of improvement, sustainability and developing content. Dr. Nazeh Natur - IRO Manager and Dean of Students represented Al-Qasemi College staff, in addition to Dr. Khaled Assad – Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Ms. Bahaa Mahamid – Coordinator of International Relations Office. Al-Qasemi students and staff participated in the program with representatives from the following institutions: ORT Braude College, Sapir Academic College, Beit Berl College, Kaye Academic College of Education, Tel-Hai College, The Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo, Warsaw University of Technology, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Politecnico di Milano, Ludwigsburg University of Education, Université de Montpellier, Kingston University and Brunel University London.
