Rationale

Computerization do interface in daily life and academic matters to facilitate the diverse procedures within them. The Department of Computer Science at Al – Qasemi College graduate well – qualified teachers of advance technological skills, who can develop a high – quality computerized environment; which matches their needs and the needs of the institutions/organizations they work at.

The academic program is designed to qualify junior and high school teachers. Moreover, this program combines the academic and practical knowledge in computer science and technology. Furthermore, the academic program highlights on theoretical and practical knowledge in teaching computer science in schools in accordance to the current and future needs. In the presented program, the students must study the following: programing languages, teaching methodology, computerized applications in teaching and education, lastly, the educational aspects in computer science and data systems.
