The Department of Teaching Entry and Internship at Al-Qasemi Academic College celebrated the opening of the MIT for specialists, new teachers, and accompanying teachers at Umm al-Fahm schools – within ProMentors Erasmus+ Project that aims to:
- improve the quality of teacher training through an efficient and sustainable mentoring system based on best EU practices with their mentees.
- advance the MIT (Multiplayer Induction Team) model for a new model of mentors training.
- facilitate the collaboration of mentors, new teachers, pedagogical guides, and the school staff, in the process of professional development of mentors.
There was a wide participation of inspectors and employers from the Ministry of Education, Haifa District, and the ProMentors team at Al-Qasemi.
The participants highlighted the importance of accompanying and supporting the novice teacher in his/her first steps in the field of education and teaching.
